From articles in Makhanda to running his own practice, with corporate finance, university lecturing and outsourced CFO work along the way.
Dale began his articles at Brandt Bowling & Co in Makhanda in 2005, studying through Unisa before graduating from Rhodes University with a BCom, with distinction in Management Accounting and Finance. He then completed his PGDipAcc and both SAICA board exams, the ITC and the APC, passing every course and exam first time.
He started his own practice, H2O Accounting, in 2019. It now trades as Waters Advisory, reflecting where the work is heading: less time on routine processing, helped by cloud software and AI, and more time on advice that moves a business forward.
